    Lidrotec

    Bochum, DE · Full-timePosted 6 days agoTech & Engineering
As Production Supervisor, you make sure our tools are built as planned: on time, in the right quality and with full traceability. You lead the build of each tool on the shop floor from kitting to factory acceptance, make decisions when things go wrong, and make sure what we learn in production flows back into planning. You report to the Head of Manufacturing and work closely with integration & test, supply chain, manufacturing engineering and quality.

    Your responsibilities
    • Execute the production plan for each tool: assign tasks to technicians, set daily priorities and keep the build on schedule
    • Coordinating work across the various departments, including handoffs between the individual production phases
    • Make decisions on the shop floor when problems arise (missing parts, defects, deviations, rework) and escalate according to clear rules when needed
    • Track task completion and actual hours and record deviations and non-conformances
    • Feed production experience back to planning and engineering: actual vs planned times, recurring problems, improvements to work instructions and BOMs
    • Prepare gate reviews together with the integration & test lead and make sure each phase is complete before the next starts
    • Work with supply chain on material availability and kitting
    • Onboard and train new technicians as the team grows
    • Drive continuous improvement of build time, quality and first-pass yield

    Your profile

    • Technical training as a mechatronics or electronics technician with further qualification (Industriemeister, Techniker), or an engineering degree
    • Several years of experience in assembling complex machines, ideally semiconductor equipment, laser systems or special machinery
    • First leadership or team lead experience on the shop floor
    • A structured way of working, and confidence making decisions under time pressure
    • Experience with production plans, ERP/MES systems and documenting actual hours and deviations
