The Role
As a Program Manager at Ignite Next, you will be at the heart of our scale-up program, ensuring that our cohorts of deep tech startups receive world-class support throughout their journey. You'll orchestrate the end-to-end program experience, from Selection Day to Portfolio Day and beyond.
This is a highly cross-functional role that requires excellent organizational skills, a passion for startups, and the ability to build strong relationships with founders, mentors, and corporate partners alike.
Your Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and continuously improve the Ignite Next program curriculum and schedule
- Coordinate with mentors, speakers, and corporate partners to deliver high-impact sessions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for startups during the program, ensuring their needs are met
- Organize and manage program events including workshops, networking sessions, and Selection / Portfolio Days
- Track and report on program metrics and startup progress
- Build and maintain relationships with the broader startup ecosystem
- Collaborate with the marketing team to amplify program activities and success stories
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in program management, startup operations, or a related field
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus)
- Passion for deep tech, startups, and the European innovation ecosystem
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision
- Based in or willing to relocate to Dresden, Germany
Nice to Have
- Experience working at or with early-stage startups or accelerators
- Background in technology, engineering, or science
- Network within the European deep tech or VC ecosystem
- Experience with event management and community building
