The Role
As Operations Manager at Ignite Next, you will be the backbone of our organization, ensuring that our day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently. You'll oversee office management, vendor relationships, financial operations, and internal processes that enable our team to focus on what matters most: supporting deep tech founders.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves solving operational challenges, and takes pride in creating systems that scale.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office operations and facilities in Dresden
- Oversee financial operations including invoicing, expense management, and budget tracking
- Coordinate with external vendors, service providers, and partners
- Develop and implement operational processes and systems for efficiency
- Support HR functions including onboarding, team coordination, and culture initiatives
- Manage travel logistics and event coordination for the team
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in operations, office management, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience with financial processes and budget management
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- Proficiency in productivity tools (Google Workspace, Notion, or similar)
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to work independently
- Based in or willing to relocate to Dresden, Germany
Nice to Have
- Experience in a startup or fast-growing company environment
- Background in the tech or innovation sector
- Knowledge of German employment law and regulations
- Experience with automation tools and process optimization
