The Role
As Automation Engineer at Ignite Next, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the technical infrastructure that powers our operations. From CRM integrations to workflow automations, you'll create systems that enable our small team to operate at scale.
This is a unique opportunity to build technical solutions in a non-traditional engineering environment, working closely with all functions of the organization to identify and automate repetitive processes.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and implement workflow automations using tools like n8n, Make, or Polytomic
- Build and maintain integrations between our core systems (CRM, website, databases)
- Develop internal tools and dashboards for team productivity
- Maintain and improve our website and digital infrastructure
- Implement data pipelines for reporting and analytics
- Document technical systems and train team members on new tools
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve operations
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in software development, automation, or DevOps
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, or similar)
- Experience with no-code/low-code automation platforms
- Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and data integration patterns
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent communication skills in English
Nice to Have
- Experience with web development (React, Next.js, or similar)
- Background in data engineering or analytics
- Experience with AI/ML tools and integrations
- Knowledge of CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
